Great job! I purchased a 1989 Silver Anniversary cabrio in Sept. and I’m looking forward to bringing it back to its former glory as much as possible. The hardest thing to grasp is that it takes time to restore these cars to an acceptable level. I commend your work and diligence, as you obviously have a great aptitude for these cars. I look forward to your future projects!

Thanks very much Brett. You’re right about the time it takes, I gave up on deadlines otherwise it’s just too stressful. Good luck with yours, nice choice of model!

Hi. Very informative blog, thanks. I have a few Porsches and have just bought my first “project”, a Guards Red 911SC Targa (MY 1981). I shall take inspiration from your experiences. Manuel – Cape Town RSA

Thanks Manuel. Although I am all the way over in Australia I have been to Cape Town. It’s a very interesting and beautiful city. Good luck with the car.
